Cyclades 15 day tour from Athens to Andros, Tinos, Naxos, Santorini

Day 1: Athens

Athens, one of the world’s oldest cities, is the capital and largest city of Greece, dominating the Attica region. Arrival at the airport which is named Elefthérios Venizélos, started operating in 2001 and it is about 30 km from Athens. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Athens.

Day 2: Athens – City tour

The contrast between the monuments of a glorious past and the modern elegant structures is what you will enjoy most during your tour of Athens. City tour. Overnight in Athens.

Day 3: Andros

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and transfer to Rafina port for the ferry to Andros. It is the northernmost island of the group with a great naval tradition and a landscape unlike the ones usually met in the Cyclades — the sandy beaches excluded. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight tin Andros.

Day 4: Andros

This Island combines mountains of greenery with fine sandy beaches and has many beautiful mountain and seaside villages. There are rocky coastlines, mountain ranges alternating with fertile plains, lush vegetation and abundantly flowing streams. Overnight in Andros.

Day 5: Tinos

After your breakfast, departure from your hotel to the port of Andros to catch the boat to Tinos. After your arrival in Tinos, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Tinos.

Day 6: Tinos

This Cycladic island mostly attracts Greek pilgrims who travel there twice a year — on March 25 and August 15 — to visit the church of Panagia Megalochari. But pilgrimage is not the only reason for getting to know the amazing island of Tinos, with the beautiful beaches and the 40 traditional villages. Overnight in Tinos.

Day 7: Naxos

After your breakfast, departure from your hotel to the port to catch the boat to Naxos. Naxos is the largest and greenest island in the Cyclades, with impressively high mountains and fertile valleys. After your arrival in Naxos, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Naxos.

Day 8: Naxos

All day at leisure to enjoy Naxos with its impressively high mountains, fertile valleys, lush green gorges, stunning seascapes and traditional villages perched high on mountain tops, and beaches that are among the most beautiful in Greece. Overnight in Naxos.

Day 9: Naxos

On the mountain top, you can see the inhabitants still wear their traditional attire and live off the fruits of the land! Naxos is also an island of beautiful old churches, monasteries and Venetian castles that coexist harmoniously with the cubic Cycladic houses. Overnight in Naxos.

Day 10: Naxos

All day at leisure to explore the traditional villages spread around the island, with a particular “magical” character, like the one of Apérathos, a colorful mountainous village that boasts five museums, stone-built houses, beautiful squares and narrow alleys paved with marble. Overnight in Naxos.

Day 11: Santorini

The precious gem of the Aegean is actually a group of islands in the southern part of the Cyclades that consists of Thíra, Thirassiá, Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Santorini.

Day 12: Santorini

Santorini is essentially what remains after an enormous volcanic eruption that destroyed the earliest settlements on a formerly single island. Overnight in Santorini.

Day 13: Santorini

Santorini’s seaside treasures are the blue waters, the beaches  with white, red or black sand or volcanic pebbles, the spectacular rock formations and the impressive lunar landscapes. Overnight in Santorini.

Day 14: Santorini

Oia, pronounced ‘Ia’, is the most famous of all villages of Santorini. It is known throughout the world for its quiet life and fantastic sunset, and is certainly the most beautiful and picturesque village of Santorini. Overnight in Santorini.

Day 15: Santorini

Transfer to the airport.
