Day 1: Athens
Athens, one of the world’s oldest cities, is the capital and largest city of Greece, dominating the Attica region. Arrival at the airport which is named Elefthérios Venizélos, started operating in 2001 and is located about 30 km from Athens. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2: Athens – City tour
The contrast between the monuments of a glorious past and the modern elegant structures is what you will enjoy during your tour of Athens. Overnight in Athens.
Day 3: Athens – One Day Cruise
Visit three gorgeous Greek Islands in a one day cruise from Athens for a relaxing day on the sea! Visiting the Saronic Islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina. Overnight in Athens.
Day 4: Santorini
Transfer to the port for Santorini. The precious gem of the Aegean is actually a group of islands in the southern part of the Cyclades that consists of Thíra, Thirassiá, Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 5: Santorini
Santorini is essentially what remains after an enormous volcanic eruption that destroyed the earliest settlements on a formerly single island. After your breakfast, departure from Fira town for your day tour of Santorini island. The bus takes you to the highest point of Santorini, Oia, from where you can have a panoramic view of the island. Then, with a traditional wooden boat, you continue to the island of Thirasia. Return to Athinios port. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 6: Santorini
Discover the crisp volcanic wine of Santorini and learn how to cook melt-in-the-mouth Greek dishes on a 5-hour food and wine tour of the island! With a friendly local guide, visit two traditional wineries to sample up to eight glasses of the local wine and learn about Santorini’s volcanic soil. Then, help a local chef prepare a feast of classic Greek delicacies and island specialties, and savor them alongside a glass of popular Greek firewater, such as ouzo! Overnight in Santorini.
Day 7: Heraklion Crete
Transfer to the port for Heraklion, the birthplace of El Greco and Nikos Kazantzakis. Heraklion is Crete’s largest city (among Chania, Rethimno, Agios Nikolaos, Sitia, Ierapetra), whose emblem is the Venetian fortress of Koules. The ruins of Knossos are located close to the city of Heraklion.Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Heraklion.
Day 8: Heraklion
After your breakfast, you will tour the Ancient Palace of Knossos – where the legend of the labyrinth originated. Continue for a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion where you will see the collection of Minoan treasures. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Heraklion.
Day 9: Heraklion
It is in the area of Heraklion that 68% of the wineries are located, and one can follow the two routes forged by the “Wine Roads of Heraklion” or discover the beautiful beaches Fodele, Agia Pelagia, Ammoudara, Kokkini Hani, etc. Day at your leisure. Overnight in Heraklion.
Day 10: Rhodes
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Rhodes. The island of Rhodes in southeastern Greece is the largest of the Dodecanese and has the longest summer of any of the Greek Islands. After our arrival, transfer to your hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Rhodes.
Day 11: Rhodes
After your breakfast, we start for our island tour, where you will have the opportunity to see its interesting landscape, numerous villages, the Castle of Monolithos and the Medieval City of Rhodes that was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Rhodes.
Day 12: Rhodes
Enjoy the day at the beach of Kallithea, a wonderful place with wild, rocky spots, famous for its hot springs. Overnight in Rhodes.
Day 13:
Transfer to the airport for your connecting flight.
